    Freedom to Read: Advocating for freedom of expression during the resurgence of censorship in North America

    Description:

    To mark the occasion of Banned Books Week, the Library has assembled a panel to discuss the “Freedom to Write.” The panel will explore the issues surrounding censorship and the pressure that is often placed on writers.

    Moderated by Kris Kasbohm, Library Director, panelists will be Prof. Janet McNally from English & Creative Writing, Prof. Shyam Sriram from Political Science, and Prof. Josh Russell from Animal Behavior, and Ecology Conservation. The panel will take place at noon on Friday, September 23 in the Library Learning Center. All members of the Canisius community are invited to what promises to be an informative discussion.
