Zotero's Functions

Zotero is a free, easy-to-use extension to your Firefox web browser. Zotero allows you to import references from library databases and the library's catalog and compile a list of sources and save the list online.

Zotero stores citations of books, articles and websites for later use. It can create citations in many styles including APA, MLA and Chicago.

Zotero allows you to form groups to share citations and notes with members of a group for comments and feedback.

Zotero allows you to create and store notes on each citation you have stored in your folders.

Zotero allows you organize citations of sources in folders, giving you the capability of working on multiple projects at the same time.

Zotero  does not automatically correct citation errors. Please read and edit your citations carefully. No matter where the citation comes from, a particular style may require some formatting including capitalization and punctuation.

ABCs of Zotero

Zotero works on all three major operating systems: PC, Mac, and Linux.
