What does it mean to Plagiarize?
Plagiarize: to steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one's own: use (another's production) without crediting the source or to commit literary theft: present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source.
Canisius does not tolerate plagiarism. Plagiarism is an act of fraud and is a serious offense. Please review the Canisius University Code of Academic Integrity. Plagiariasm is described in Section II.B.1 (Plagiarism).
