Where in the library is Hoover's?

Hoover's information is available through its destination site Hoover's Online (http://www.hoovers.com) and is available on the library’s list of databases under “H” http://library.canisius.edu/databases#h

How can Hoover's help you?

It's a great starting point for business information about revenue, NAICS codes, employee, financial data, etc. It is a business research platform that allows you to search U.S. and international company listings by industry, size, and geography to build lists, and create marketing plans. It is a great place to start when researching a company for a job interview, and overall industry analysis. Simply type in a company name (i.e. Rich Products).

How do you use Hoover's?

The website is very user friendly so you can get started on your own if you wish, and ask a Reference Librarian should you need more extensive help, or you can work with a librarian from the get-go by asking at the Information Service Desk or going here: http://library.canisius.edu/help.
