Bibliography of the History of Art: BHA contains only citations to articles in art journals not the full text of the articles. It covers European and American art from late antiquity to the present. Materials indexed include articles, art-related books, conference proceedings and dissertations, and exhibition and dealer's catalogs. You can search this database along with RILA and RAA by checking off multiple boxes before clicking on search. You'll need to search the library catalog by the name of the journal to see if we have the article.

Art History Journals and Online Journals

International Repertory of the Literature of Art: RILA includes abstracts and indexes on all aspects of European and American art and architecture. European art is covered from late Antiquity (4th c.); American art is covered from the European discoveries (16th c.). Art reflecting the Western tradition in other parts of the world is also included. This database only covers Materials till 1989, it then merged with BHA. You can search this database along with BHA by checking off both boxes before clicking on search. You'll need to search the library catalog by the name of the journal to see if we have the article.

JSTOR - JSTOR is an archival collection of over 300 full-text journals. It offers back issues of journals from the very first issue (starting in the 1800's for some journals). It now contains 7 art history journals including Art Bulliten and Burlington Magazine.

EBSCOHost Academic Search Premier: This database covers art only as an afterthought. Good place to look for reviews and some academic journal articles from publications like "Art Bulletin", "Art Journal" and "Art History." Try the Search for Article links to see if we have the article in another of the Library's databases..
